Work & Worship

Work as an Act of Worship

The ultimate goal of work is…to make it to the weekend? Earn a paycheck? Retirement? Or is work a necessary evil until we “get to Heaven”? In our culture, we often separate work and worship into different worlds that rarely touch one another…yet God’s Word teaches that work is sacred, good, and necessary and is part of how we reflect the image of the Creator. So what does the Bible teach us about work? Is it possible to work as an act of worship? Even we’re you’re doing something you don’t want to do? Even if you have a job you hate, a boss you don’t trust, and a never ending list of things to do? Listen in as we learn together how to work, worship, and become who God calls us to be.
