Teaching & Discipleship

Grace Community Church exists to proclaim the good news of the gospel and develop followers of Jesus. Every follower of Jesus is called to make disciples--to help others wrestle with the truth of scripture and pursue a maturing faith in God. Whether you are a teacher, factory worker, lawyer, stay-at-home parent or minister, your life should point people toward a loving relationship with God. At Grace Community Church, we have several opportunities where you can share the gospel and teach others what it means to follow Jesus.

Teaching & Discipleship Opportunities

  • Children Classroom Teachers: Serve in a critical role by investing in our children. Grace Community Church supports families by providing weekly opportunities for children to have a positive influence in the classroom and bible-centered teaching. If you are called to serve kids and want to encourage their faith, contact the Children's Ministry Leader, Terry McCurly at This email address is being protected from spambots. • The Journey: If you want to impact the local community and our church family by teaching practical life skills, consider volunteering as a teacher at The Journey. Every term we offer classes that cover topics like parenting, marriage, and finances. What a great way to begin the conversation about God as you help develop practical skills that can benefit our community.
