Join a Community

Community is where we grow in our ability to love God and love others deeply. Communities are gatherings of 10-15 people who meet weekly to share a meal, pray for one another, and learn to live like Jesus. As disciples of Jesus, we strive to re-order our lives around the lifestyle of Jesus, so we can do what He did. We call this spiritual formation.  We do this by living in community, having accountability with other Jesus followers, reading scripture, holding deep honest conversations, creating space for the Spirit to work, and incorporating spiritual practices into our daily lives. The goal of communities is to allow God to transform our lives, so we become more like Jesus for God's glory and the sake of others!

21 Days of Prayer

21 Days of Prayer

Let’s face it. The Holidays can be exhausting.

In Eugene Peterson’s paraphrase of the Bible, Jesus says in Matthew 11:

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace…”

Starting daily on January 13th from 6:30-7:30am we’ll pursue a collective schedule reset as we prayerfully lean into Jesus for Gresham leaders, family, neighbors and beyond.

Across our hour together we’ll sing a hymn, hear God’s word taught, and pray with church family.

You won’t find anything flashy, but you will experience Jesus-community.

You’ll find rest even as you give up sleep.

Women's Winter 2025 Bible Studies

Join us for Women’s Bible Study this Winter!

Tuesday Mornings 9am-11am January 21st-March 4th: Follow Kristi McLelland through Israel as we study snapshots from the Gospel of Luke to see where the stories of the Bible took place. Over 7 sessions in this Bible study workbook, challenge the way you read the accounts of Jesus through teaching videos that take you to locations in Israel like Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the road to Emmaus. Along the way, you'll see how Jesus, the Messiah, brought His kingdom to earth for everybody.

Tuesday Evenings 6:30pm-8:30pm: Ruth, by Kelly Minter. Ruth is a women's Bible study of Ruth's journey of unbearable loss, redeeming love, and divine legacy. This study delves into the virtuous character of Ruth, her unique relationship with her mother-in-law Naomi, and her blossoming love with Boaz. If you've ever felt devastated, struggled as a stranger, longed to be loved, or wept along the way, you'll find a loyal sister in Ruth.

Combined Bilingual Service

Combined Bilingual Service

On Sunday, October 27th, we will only have TWO services; one at 10:45am and one at 2pm. We will NOT have an 8:45am service on this day.

The 10:45 service will be in English with some Spanish elements during music worship time. The 2pm service will be in Spanish but translated to English so if you have never been to the 2pm service, this is a good Sunday to join us!

In between services we will have what we are calling a "mini potluck!" We are asking that people bring easy finger food snacks to share! The food will be served in the Great Room and then you are welcome to find a seat in the lobby or in the Auditorium. This is a great opportunity to spend some time with people you might not normally see! Make plans now to join us at one of these services!
