Practicing the Way Course
The Practicing the Way Course is an on-ramp to spiritual formation, exploring what it means to follow Jesus and laying the foundation for a life of apprenticeship to him. This course will be Tuesday nights, January 14th-March 4th from 6:30pm-8pm
Kid's Quest
KID'S QUEST is a great opportunity for kids to get together mid-week to learn and grow in their relationship with Jesus. This year our focus is to help our kids develop good rhythms in their walk with Jesus and grow in discipleship. We will be teaching on Bible study, prayer, rest and reflection, service and sharing our faith with the connection to Be With Jesus (Abide), Be Like Jesus (Transformation), and Do What Jesus Did (Imitate).
Join us on Tuesdays from 6:30-8pm
Join a Community
Community is where we grow in our ability to love God and love others deeply. Communities are gatherings of 10-15 people who meet weekly to share a meal, pray for one another, and learn to live like Jesus. As disciples of Jesus, we strive to re-order our lives around the lifestyle of Jesus, so we can do what He did. We call this spiritual formation. We do this by living in community, having accountability with other Jesus followers, reading scripture, holding deep honest conversations, creating space for the Spirit to work, and incorporating spiritual practices into our daily lives. The goal of communities is to allow God to transform our lives, so we become more like Jesus for God's glory and the sake of others!
21 Days of Prayer
Let’s face it. The Holidays can be exhausting.
In Eugene Peterson’s paraphrase of the Bible, Jesus says in Matthew 11:
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace…”
Starting daily on January 13th from 6:30-7:30am we’ll pursue a collective schedule reset as we prayerfully lean into Jesus for Gresham leaders, family, neighbors and beyond.
Across our hour together we’ll sing a hymn, hear God’s word taught, and pray with church family.
You won’t find anything flashy, but you will experience Jesus-community.
You’ll find rest even as you give up sleep.
Prayer Room
Join us in committing ourselves to prayer 8am-8pm, Monday January 13th-Thursday January 30th. Register for a one hour time slot below!
